The role: Senior Backend Developer C#/.NET Beetsterzwaag

As a Senior Backend Developer C#/.NET, you will work in one of the multidisciplinary agile teams, operating with a “you build it, you run it” mentality. Together with your colleagues, you continuously evolve and improve the product.

Your work will include building and enhancing scalable logic engines, rule engines, high-performance APIs, as well as AI and machine learning solutions.

Many of the challenges go beyond a single team. You will contribute to improving the scalability and performance of distributed systems, enabling multiple teams to work effectively in parallel. You will also be involved in evolving the architecture towards a more event-driven approach, and in exploring organisation-wide AI use cases.

This is only a glimpse of what’s ahead. For software engineers who enjoy tackling a wide range of complex technical challenges, there is more than enough here to sink your teeth into.

Growth opportunities

The organisation is at the start of a significant growth phase, creating strong opportunities for engineers who join now. A natural next step could be progressing into a Tech Lead role within one of the engineering teams in the near future.

What we’re looking for

  • At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience
  • A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience with C# and .NET
  • Experience with cloud technologies like Azure is a plus
  • Experience with Kubernetes is a plus
  • Experience with distributed systems and/or event-driven architectures is a plus
  • Experience with AI platforms such as Azure AI is a plus
  • Experience with machine learning is a plus
